Oooh, that sounds like a fun weekend!! What is with Brownie??! Sammy the Weiner Dog growls at me too in the bed and he's not even OUR dog!!! You'd think they owned the place. Sheesh.

The age thing is messed up.
I now need a full recovery day if I stay up to watch Letterman.

I'm a little jealous that you got a 3-day weekend and I didn't. Oh yeah, and the girl time too. ;)
DITTO on that last one! ANd my dog grunts when I get too close in the night. nice. LOVE being the pack leader.

My back is reminding me today that at my age spending all day lifting 35lbs worth of preschooler around is too much for it. Age is indeed merciless :-)
Long weekends are harder to come back from than two week vacations.
What happens at the casino STAYS at the casino. As does the roll of film. Except that we don't have "rolls" of film anymore. That damn binary code....
Lin - it was a great weekend indeed. And I think you're right about Spike. I need to brew up a post.

Mommy Lisa - My cat hides behind a chair to sleep so that there is never a threat of being disturbed.
Foxy - I didn't really have a three day weekend, but my friends did. I had to use a vacation day.
PeeWee - I am totally not the pack leader.
Linda - Girl's weekend is the best.
Aging Mommy - Eventually they get too big to lift, but they still want you to pick them up.

When you say Brownie, are you referring to sleeping with real live chocolate goodness? If so, it's nice to know I am not alone in sleeping with my desserts.

Amy - She's so sweet and even tempered at all other times.
Surfer Wife - There have certainly been times when I had oreo crumbs in my bed, but in this instance, I am referring to a cranky dog.
I know...I must tell you..do NOT even try to recreate the dance moves from your youth. Nice way to throw out a neck...so I've heard.
Empress - I don't have the energy for that. No risk.
I love that you're too tired to beat the age with a stick...I am too!
I'm not sure if someone lost their shirt, as in they lost all their money, or if someone literally lost their shirt.
I'd be lying if I said I wasn't hoping for the latter.
